Last week Missouri's Governor Jay Nixon signed legislation sharply restricting adult clubs in the state. Today, the National Catholic Register posted my story outlining the strategy of the bill's supporters. The key point is that the bill's author, Sen. Bartle, who is about to retire from politics, has worked hard to include language that deals with First Amendment concerns, while restricting activities at the clubs.
