Here's a piece I wrote last week after watching a very interesting and even inspiring episode on Oprah. The show featured one of the fastest-growing religious orders in the country: the Ann Arbor, Michigan Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist. I was absolutely enthralled by the sisters, so kind, radiant and serene in their love of Christ. No surprise that they have about 100 members with a median age of 26. I found Oprah' s repetitive questions about celibacy to be a bit irritating, however, and said so in my commentary. The Anchoress was more tolerant of Oprah's approach.
